We are delighted to announce, that YEAR - Young European Associated Researchers will host a 2 days training event with one of Europe’s most highly esteemed and sought after trainers - Sean Mc Carthy of Hyperion on EU Proposal writing for H2020 and towards Horizon Europe. The training will be held in Brussels on 25-26 April. Full details and registrations are available here: http://www.year-network.com/?ourevents=year-proposal-training-how-to-succeed-in-horizon-2020-and-horizon-europe
The event will include 1.5 days of training with Sean, and a half day workshop with experienced proposal coordinator and reviewer Deepack Pant of VITO on consortium forming and where participants will adopt the role of proposal reviewer to see the process from the other side. This international event brings the added value of networking among multidisciplinary Young Researchers, who are interested in developing EU proposals, in 7 YEAR Institutes (VTT, TNO, SINTEF, RISE, VITO, AIT and AICIA) with high potential for finding core partners for new project proposals. Currently 39 participants are registered already, so it’s a great opportunity to network with like-minded researchers during this training.
While YEAR does not impose age limitations, we are focused on early stage Researchers (max. 15 years since MSc degree, or 10 years or less experience in Research). Please encourage relevant members of your team, who you would like to develop in EU Proposal writing, to participate in this high impact event. While the event is fully sponsored and funded by YEAR, funding for travel and hours is expected to come from your own department / team.
The training and one dinner (25th April) are free of cost; travel and accomodation is not included.
