Due to the coronavirus the Jong TNO Board has decided to cancel all activities until further notice at least until 6th of April. If you have already paid for any cancelled event you will of course be reimbursed. We count on your understanding for this measure and wish you all good health!

Looking forward for Spring to arrive? Aren’t we all?

Then, what a better way of getting hyped for the (hopefully) soon coming (kind of) sunny Spring than going out into the nature to a Mountain Bike adventure with your fellow JongTNOers!

Coming March 15th we will arrange an excursion to one of the most challenging MTB tracks in the Netherlands, the famous Schoorl parkour track. This route (Rated 4,42 stars out of five in MTBRoutes.NL) offers a nice forrestal location with a total climbing altitude of 304 meters over a 16 kilometer single-track route. 

The fee includes the rent of a new Mountain Bike, a helmet and a water bidon. Transport to the location should be arranged by ourselves. This event is sponsored by JongTNO so you will end up paying just a fraction of the total cost. For transport to the location, the easiest way via public transportation is to arrive to Alkmaar station by train and take the 151 bus at 12:24 (direction Petten), and get out at Schoorl, Frederikslaan stop. We will meet at the mountainbike rental place ‘Mountain bike huren Schoorl’ (Laanweg 9) at 13:00h.

The dress code is sport clothes. We recommend you to bring shorts or leggings, a comfortable (sweat)shirt, shoes that can get muddy and bike gloves.
