UYM Biohacking stress - Interactive online session

In his previous lecture about ‘Biohacking stress’, Ronald Siecker talked about stress and relaxation. He explained why our brains makes us feel stress and why we need sleep. He explained about what this means for self-management and the possibilities of hacking one’s own stress responses. In the end Ronald and his colleagues gave a live demonstration on how you can learn to influence stress responses.

In this follow-up lecture Ronald will give a recap on this topic and will expand on hacking our own programming. He’ll talk about if humans can indeed be programmed like a computer, and if so, what is the ‘source code’ that not only determines how much stress we individually feel, but also our skills, possibilities and even our personalities. How much of this can we take into our own hands? What really is possible, and what does this mean for who we are, for how we feel, live, and for who we can be?

In this online session there will be plenty of room for questions and for related topics that you find interesting. We really want to make it interactive and make sure that we talk about subject you are interested in, so feel free to bring up any thoughts and questions!

There are limited spaces so register now to receive the calendar invite and link to the online session!
