UYM Workshop - Find your Ikigai | The Hague

Ikigai is a Japanese term that refers to the reason for one's existence. People who know their ikigai and live according to it, experience more happiness and purpose, which contributes to better health and vitality. Ikigai is so powerful that some see it as the secret to a long and happy life. That's why, in this workshop, we will explore your ikigai!

What to expect for this workshop?

  • Plenary opening, introduction, and getting to know each other.
  • Reflection: How are meaning and happiness currently perceived within TNO and this group?
  • Awareness and importance: What benefits will working on this bring to you?
  • Theoretical framework: What exactly is Ikigai (and what is it not), and the factors and variables relevant to this topic.
  • Energy givers and takers: Which aspects do you want to keep, and which aspects need to be addressed?
  • Gaining insight into how you think about themes such as mission, passion, and calling.
  • Mindset: Do you have limiting beliefs or thoughts that prevent you from doing what you love most?
  • Techniques: Various exercises to discover what 'sense of purpose' can mean for yourself.
  • Practical tips and tools: The do's and don'ts of Ikigai.
  • Extensive practice and experimentation with all the lesson material, techniques, tips, and insights.
  • Next step: What concrete action points will you take from the training into tomorrow?
  • Sharing insights, a Q&A, and plenary closing

This workshop is lead by FirmaVitaliteit. They use their Active Learning method during the workshop. This means that participants will receive the necessary theory in the session but will mainly engage with the material in an active and practical way. This approach quickly generates insights and skills that participants can independently apply in their own (work) practice. Through this method, optimal learning outcomes are achieved.

Drinks and (vegan) snacks will be provided during this workshop.

Your point of contact for this event is Annette Rondaij. Please contact her if you have any questions.

Hope to see you there!
