Visit the green energy labs at TNO Petten
Ever wondered how TNO is contributing towards research on decarbonisation technologies, such as large-scale green hydrogen production and storage, or the electrification of industrial processes?
Would you like to learn more about these technologies and how TNO helps shape the future of sustainable energy supply and that of Dutch industry? (Or would you like to visit the labs at TNO Petten without having to use public transport?)
All of this while networking with other young professionals from Shell? Then this is your chance!
Young TNO in collaboration with Young Shell invites you to a trip to the TNO offices in Petten, where we'll visit the green energy labs and get to know more about the projects that are being developed there. This will include the hydrogen research facility, where electrolysis technologies are being scaled up to meet the energy demands from industry and heavy transport, and the heat pump manufacturing lab, where energy-efficient heat pumps are developed to replace a large share of fossil-fueled industrial process heating.

- We've got food and transport sorted for you! A bus will depart from The Hague and stop at Amsterdam before taking us all the way to Petten.
- Please bring a legal identification document (either passport or EEA national ID card), otherwise you cannot enter the TNO building.

14:00-15:00: Introduction TNO and Shell
15:00-16:00: Lab tour
16:00-17:00: Drinks and networking
17:00-19:00: Bus journey back to The Hague Central (stopping at Amsterdam Sloterdijk at around 18:00)
