Networking Committee - Expanding your network

The Networking Committee (NC) organises one or two activities each month. These networking events are aimed at connecting Jong TNO  members with members of other Young Organisations in the Netherlands. The goals of the Networking Committee are to:

• Ensure the continuity of the Jong TNO external netwerk
• Help organise events with external organizations such as ICA, YEAR,  and Young The Hague
• Aid in the organisation of international trips
• Co-organize events with (the Young Organisations of ) other companies

The diversity of events which are organised by the NC is large. Company visits, networking events and international trips are just some of the activities the NC works on. The NC holds a meeting once a month, chaired by the Network Commissioner from  the board. The NC currently counts several members and is always looking for new people to join! Find out more about joining the NC over here.

Activity Committee - Organizing activities for you!

The Activity Committee (AC) organises multiple activities each month, bringing together members from across the country. The diversity of events is large, ranging from social get-togethers to workshops, and from sports activities to traveling weekends. Join us during one of the upcoming events and read up on our past activities!

To realise these activities, the AC holds a meeting about once a month. These meetings are chaired by the Activity Commissioner from the board and they are hosted by one of the AC members. Unwind Your Mind Committee

The Unwind Your Mind Committee (UYM) has been created to support young employees with developing a healthy work-life balance. Since it has become clear that stress amongst young employees is a growing issue in the Netherlands, and the issue is even larger within TNO, we as Jong TNO want to facilitate events that address this topic. Unwind Your Mind is the platform for everyone who wants to discover ways to alleviate stress and improve their work-life balance. We organize for example mindfulness workshops, storytelling events where experiences in coping with stress are shared, but above all, we are there for you to unwind!
