JongTNO contact points and partners

Local ambassadors

Location ambassadors are the local contact points for questions about and ideas for Jong TNO. They help the board, the activity committee and the networking committee with the promotion and organization of events. So if you have any questions or ideas for Jong TNO but you don’t feel like sending an email, find your location ambassador(s)! These rockstars will be happy to help.

Partner organisations: ICA and YEAR

Jong TNO is an active member of ICA and co-founder of YEAR. Members of Jong TNO are automatically allowed to join activities which are organised by these networks. Find out more about their upcoming activities on their websites!

Partner organisation: TNO PhD Community

The TNO PhD Community is an initiative for PhD researchers working in projects affiliated with TNO. Founded in 2020, they aim to help TNO PhD researchers develop, network and create an impact during their time as a PhD researcher at TNO. For a part of their members, their only connection with TNO is the project they're working on. The TNO PhD Community strives to be the connecting bridge.

A membership of the TNO PhD Community now includes a free, optional Jong TNO membership! Why? Because part of the goals of the TNO PhD Community is professional growth and networking, as is the case for Jong TNO. In addition, most PhD researchers are young or young at heart. Instead of doing the same but for our separate communities, we join forces to provide more for both our member bases!

A few practical details: Your membership via the TNO PhD Community will be an extraordinary membership, which has the only practical difference that you do not have the right to vote during our general members meeting - if you want a vote and have a TNO contract, you can become a regular member via the usual route; Contrary to common knowledge, you can become a member if you're above 35 years of age, and yes, also if you're only affiliated with, but not officially working at TNO; We will receive a few basic personal details about you - our privacy policy applies; You will still have to create an account on this website before you can register for events.
