Uncertainty & Stress: what is expected of juniors at TNO? (lunch lecture)

The number of burnout-related complaints among employees at TNO is high compared to the average in the Netherlands.

There is evidence that suggests that this affects younger employees more than those that have been working at TNO for a longer time.

Uncertainty regarding what is expected of a junior in her/his first year at TNO seems to be a root cause of these high stress levels.

The goal of the Shoulders trainee project was to create clarity about what is expected of junior employees during their first year at TNO.

Throughout the project we discussed the expectations of juniors with over 300 people from all different layers within TNO.

We have found some remarkable differences between expectations.

Curious to hear about what we have found? Interested in what we are doing to implement the results within TNO?

Join us on October 15th where we will present our findings and discuss these with you!
