The TNO Rainbow employee group would love to invite you to our first ever Rainbow party! 🎉
The party will include dinner, DJ’s and a posing workshop, and you are welcome to bring your partner(s) along as well!

Where: PIP, Binckhorstlaan 38, The Hague, https://pipdenhaag.nl/ map of the location please be aware of the gate that closes at 22.30, don't park behind it!
When: Thursday 9 February, 17.30-23.00
Price: €5* (which includes a welcome drink, 1 drink of your choice and food)

Program:
17.30: Doors open and party starts
18.00-19.30: Dinner is served, vegetarian
20.00-21.00: Posing workshop
21.00-23.00: Music/dancing/chatting/general partying
Wardrobe/dressing area and low-stimulus space:
The venue consists of one space where we will have the party (called Barzaal) and an additional space next to it (called Spiegelzaal), which we will use for multiple things.
- The Spiegelzaal will have coatracks that are available the whole evening to store your jackets, it will be unmanned so we advise you to not leave your valuables there unattended.
- From 17.30-19.30, the Spiegelzaal will have an area where you can change into your party outfit and have a spot to put some makeup and such on. This will be removed after 19.30.
- From 19.30-23.00, the Spiegelzaal will have an area that will function as a low-stimulus space. The lights will not be too bright, there is no music, earplugs are available and you can sit down on a couch with a blanket and something to read. We ask anyone who wants to store or pickup their coat in the Spiegelzaal to be quiet while doing so!
- The Spiegelzaal will also be the spot to check out the Rainbow library, see next paragraph.
Rainbow Library:
Which book or CD has inspired you in your queer journey?
You can make this party extra special! If you feel comfortable with it, take any object to the party that you think could inspire other queers and allies. Together we can create a beautiful little rainbow library! Think of books, CDs, DVDs, drawings, cartoons... you name it! We will provide sticky notes in order to label your object so that it returns to you at the end of the night. Don't worry: the library will be located far from the dance floor, so your stuff will not be trampled!
Theme and dressing up:
The theme of the party is “The Future is Queer”, which is pretty much a wildcard for you to dress up however you like. You can interpret is as futuristic, or colorful, or just a way to express yourself. We want to create a safe space during the party where you can wear what you feel your best festive self in!
Workshop:
The posing workshop is kind of a surprise for us as well, we know the host (James Rae Parnell) from a previous activity and really like and trust him to create a fun and active workshop. If, however you don’t want to join the workshop, you of course can refrain from doing so.
